Parle G's big achievement is being at the top for 10 consecutive years as the country's largest FMCG brand

According to the Kantar India Annual Brand Footprint Report, biscuit brand Parle came the most favored brand among the fastest growing consumer products in India in 2021. Parle has been on top in this matter for 10 successive times.

Kantar India, number one for 10 times, has included the most favored FMCG brands in 2021 grounded on CRP( Consumer Reach Point) in its report. Consumer reach points are measured grounded on the number of purchases made by consumers and the frequence of these purchases in a timetable time. For the once 10 times, Kantar has been releasing brand footmark rankings. 

 

After Parle Biscuits, the list includes Amul, Britannia, Clinique Plus, and Tata Consumer Products brands. Parle is at the top for the 10th time again with a consumer reach point score of 6531( million). 

 

Increase in Parle's CRP Parle 

 

has achieved a 14 percent increase in consumer reach points in 2021 compared to 2020. Meanwhile, Amul's CRP has increased by 9 percent. While the CRP of Britannia has increased by 14 percent. Packaged bottom brand Haldiram has entered the top- 25 in the CRP club and is presently at number 24. fresh reports on consumer reach points have bettered the number of brands. Brand Footmark 2022 includes food, homecare, health, beauty and dairy brands measuring over 400 brands and 98 billion CRPs.

1929 Parle started in 1929. Parle first started manufacturing biscuits in 1938 under the name Parle- Gluco( Parle Glucose). In the 1940s- 50s, the company introduced India's first interspersed biscuit' Monaco'. In the time 1974, Parle launched the sweet-salty Crackjack Biscuits. After 1980, the name Parle Glucose Biscuits was docked to Parle- G. Then' G' stood for glucose. The company launched Chocolate Melody in 1983 and India's first mango delicacy Mango Bite in 1986.
