" Drivers can produce digital documents. Digital documents don't mean scrutinized dupe or a print of driving license, RC ( enrollment instrument) or insurance. They've to be stored on DigiLocker or mParivahan app,"the functionary said.
An amended provision in the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 allows citizens to produce transport- related documents similar as enrollment, insurance, fitness and permit, the driving licence, pollution check instrument and any other applicable documents in electronic form.
